We knew he was a Cosmopolatino all along...

Well...we knew he was talented and wonderful. We still don't know exactly what a "Cosmopolatino" IS, exactly, but Mr. Greg Casseus, our favorite DJ of Brazilian Beat/Black Betty and NUBLU fame, has been dubbed just that by the lovely folk over at NY Mosaico.

Patricia Benabe-Cintron managed to extract this choice quip regarding exactly what type of Brazilian stuff Greg spins:
Both [parties] are strictly dedicated to Brazilian music, real Brazilian music, not house with a percussion sample pretending to be Brazilian like you hear in a lot of places. It’s a labor of love, Brazilian music has enlightened and stimulated me since childhood when my dad would buy all these records, some of which I still play out every week!

And when she asked him where he finds his rare grooves, he explains thusly:
Hey, I live to 'dig the crates.' Records show up anywhere, and I’m ALWAYS on the lookout.
